Job title: Garden Center Cashier

Job Description

This position operates the Point of Sale system in cashing out customers and also assists customers with any questions or help as needed

Duties and responsibilities

• Cashiering using Point of Sale system
• Provide information regarding products
• Assist in pricing and stocking inventory as needed
• Assist in maintenance and care of plant material as needed
• Perform other related duties as requested

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• Ability to work in an outdoor environment (station is located in greenhouse and can get very warm)
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Type:

This is a full time seasonal position – 40 hours a week plus overtime as needed.
